Pleasure drive at wollombi a huge success for our first run. Everyone keen on more. Next pleasure drive on this page, 4th March, keep an eye out for further details, and map of drive will be forwarded to all club members and friends as it gets closer.
Hot day but the early start prooved a success, the trail was cooler than expected at the start, mostly in shade, and beautiful scenery to match. The big horses powered on ahead and left little Pirate (mini donkey) and Roberts little white rocket to play catch up at their own pace. This worked very well as the little fellows found the drive just long enough, with the bigger carriages taking a slightly longer route ahead. Everyone returned safe and satisfied at the days event, and most of all had fun!
Quick meeting after and then all headed up to tavern for some well earned food and drinks. Even little Pirate joined the tavern crew at the tables for a few hot chips, yum yum. Thank you all for such great support for this event, perhaps next drive will have a drop in temperature, and bring bigger numbers. Apologies for those who could not make it due to weather and other issues, it was a great day. Please look in Gallery for all the Pictures on the day.
